A Sydney pub has been accused of serving chocolate gelato laced with frozen faeces to a family
Mr and Mrs Stephen Whyte,and their 3 young children were at the Coogee Bay Hotel on Oct 5 when they were given the free gelato, after complaining about the pub's loud music.
According to a report in The Sydney Morning Herald. Mrs said she became violently ill after eating a spoonfull of the ice-cream. The family sent a sample of the gelato tp the National Measurements Institute, which found that it had "properties similar to human excreta", The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
