Chinese opera and hawkers food in the 50s
In the 50s there was no such thing as hygiene, people don't know about hygiene. A push cart stall selling kuai tiew soup. There was no tap water in the stall. The hawker had to carry the water from a standing tap 5mins away. Stall was busy, the water used to wash the plate was pour into stock pot, thinking that no one was looking and he was right people were not worried about that.
