I have been hearing so much about the famous Heng Hwa beehoon that I decided to try it after gym one day.

So my gym buddy and I went Xing Hua Seafood Restaurant at Race Course Road.

We helped ourselves to a hearty meal after hitting the gym at a coffee-shop called, Extra 1 Eating House.

I know it sounds confusing, let me explain.

Xing Hua Seafood Restaurant is the one that sells the beehoon, and this stall is located in Extra 1 Eating House in Race Course Road.

We tried the famous Heng Hwa Bee Hoon, which I would say is a nice simple dish. The beehoon is soft but springy, wet but not soggy, and unbroken.

We also tried their fried noodles that they call Mian Xian (vermicelli in English), however it tasted exactly like noodles.

They also have a dish similar to Singapore's Or Luak (oyster omelette), but they substitute the oysters with clams.
